Kin & Co.

We gave Samuel Engelking’s portrait studio
an editorial identity and a bespoke Framer
site, so family portraiture could finally be
lived with as fine art.

Branding web development collateral

The new identity and website feel editorial, intimate, and quietly confident — made for families who treat their homes as a form of self-expression.

Kin & Co. is an editorial portrait studio for families who treat their homes, and how they’re seen, as an extension of their identity. Samuel came to us with a clear point of view: family photography had gone stale. We built a quietly confident identity and a bespoke Framer site that carry his work from first consultation to the framed print on the wall.

Branding & Visual Identity

Kin & Co. isn’t another family photography studio. It’s redefining the category. We built a brand as intentional as Samuel’s sessions: quietly confident and editorial, with enough warmth to never feel cold. A custom serif wordmark anchored by an experimental ampersand pairs with warm neutrals, deep umber, and a typewriter-inspired accent type that nods to vintage photographic prints.

Framer Development

Kin & Co.’s sessions are bespoke and art directed, so the website needed to feel the same. We designed a clean, editorial experience that lets the photography lead without becoming a gallery, and walks visitors through the process the way Samuel walks his clients through it: consultation, creative direction, the reveal. Built from a custom Figma system into a bespoke Framer site, it balances editorial restraint with clear paths to inquire.

Collateral

From business cards and letterhead to a signature kraft mailer box and social templates, we extended the identity across every touchpoint. Embossed finishes, textured backgrounds, and careful typography carry the studio’s tactile, print-first philosophy from a business card to the box a client’s prints arrive in.
